Stacy Kane

Owner / Supervising
Location Manager

Stacy’s loved the craft of storytelling since childhood.  Her family recalls a time she toddled through a restaurant returning to the table with detailed backstories of the customers she’d met along the way.  Growing up in Alaska spoke to Stacy’s insatiable sense of adventure.

Much like production, Alaska offers wild variables quickly turning action-packed plans into “misadventures”.  Finding ways to pivot came naturally; Stacy discovered getting into a fix was almost as fun as getting out of one.  As a bonus, it produced both a good story and oftentimes a new friend.

With a little luck and good timing, Stacy became involved with the first studio feature film shooting in Alaska under the newly developed tax incentive.  Her first day on set she thought:  This is the mothership and these are my people. Over a decade later, Stacy’s work in the industry has been far reaching.   She’s well versed in film tax incentives and with grant funding and co-creating a training program to expand Alaska’s crew base. Stacy has created content for unscripted television working on all sides of TV, Commercial and Feature Film projects in Alaska and Internationally.  Stacy’s work has earned her membership in the Producer’s Guild of America.

Stacy believes the heart of every great project is a good narrative while solid connections are the bloodline. The heartbeat, however, is the collaborative effort of working through the production process.  As a bonus, Stacy’s career path has made for good stories, good friends and loyal clients.

Jacques Nel

Owner / Producer

Jacques started out in the advertising industry earning a BA in Visual Brand
Communication. After being on a commercial set for a spot he wrote, he absolutely fell in
love with the film industry.

Jacques opened a post production studio in Cape Town, South Africa and also worked closely with directors on their treatments, bringing their creative visions to fruition.

His love of crafting visuals, storytelling and problem solving naturally led to the world of production. Jacques has worked in various positions within the film industry and has an eagerness to get the best possible shot, location, cast and crew for his clients.

Currently Jacques resides between Cape Town and Anchorage, servicing jobs for clients worldwide. Alaska is much like Africa; both allowing the opportunity to work in some of the most remote towns in the world as well as bustling cities from East to West, and South to North. He has no issue with getting his hands or feet dirty and cold for the sake of creating good content.
